Born on 11 October 1984 in Tanjung Karang, where I spent my early years. Alone, I made my way to Java, where my mother’s root is, and settled in Yogyakarta until 2012. 

At 21 I had my first book of poems (in Indonesian) published, this was Biografi Kehilangan. I also published Como un Sueño, a collection of short stories (also in Indonesian) in 2005 and Hati yang Patah Berjalan – Broken Heart Walking, a collection of poems (in both Indonesian and English) in 2009.

Having moved to Dorset in 2012 and spent months at a time in Paris between 2016 and 2018, I have since lived in London.
