I was born on 11 october 1984 to a large family in Lampung where i spent my early years. alone, I made my way to Java, where my mother’s root is, and settled in Yogyakarta where I still have a home. At 21 I had my first book of poems published, this was Biografi Kehilangan (Biography of Loss).

I am the author of Como un Sueño, a collection of short stories. Additionally, I am a full member of The Chartered Institute of Linguists and a translator from English to Indonesian and vice versa.

I now live between Dorset (England) and Paris (France).
